Zambales: Travel Diary

Sea, sand, salty hair, sound waves and laughter; These are the five words to define my Zambales adventure in Isla de Potipot. I went there to escape the busy life of the city and take a break from long hours of work during weekdays. We traveled for almost 7-8 hours from Manila to Zambales and we arrived at exactly 6AM.

I thought our swim will be postponed because it was raining heavily but luckily, after a few hours of sleep and rest the rain had stop. We ride a boat to get across to the white-sand island wearing life vests. After a few minutes, we arrived at our destination. I just fell in love with the white-sand beach and there are a lot of cottages and rooms for guest accommodation. There are activities you can get excited about. I tried kayaking for the first time albeit having a hard time from navigating. It was so much fun and memorable. At night, dinner is easy because they provided grilling area for each cottage. We had a fun dinner and some good laughter. One of my best tips in travelling with your co-worker: Rule #1: Bring funny stories with you.
