Tagaytay

It feels like a breath of fresh air when something is going well after all the struggles I've been through in these past few months. I had an opportunity to spent the long weekends with my family after they decided to book a last minute hotel reservation for an unplanned staycation in tagaytay. The funniest thing is that, my boyfriend who happened to visit was also invited to join.

Holiday Break

A few more days before resume of classes and I've been contemplating about life lately. The month of December has been great to me. Before the year 2023 ended, we stayed in the Province and celebrated Christmas with the whole family. My vacation was so great, bunch of group games for the holidays, good food and people full of laughter. I also dye my hair for the first time (After 24 years) I realized how I never experienced dyeing my hair other than its natural black color. I always have people complimenting my hair while growing up that I don't want to ruin it. Just like what everybody says "A girl's hair is their crowning glory" because just like a crown, you can never take that off especially when everything messed up. I dye my hair by a few highlights of caramel brown and tried bleaching for the first time as recommended by my sister who said that "dyeing your hair is life changing."

Marian Orchard: Lipa, Batangas

It was Saturday, I'm so in the mood to go outside and have fun. These past few days has been so stressful and I really want to have a little escape. After a few weeks of not seeing each other, I called my boyfriend and we decided to go to Lipa, Batangas to check out our newly found place, The Marian Orchard.

When in Binondo

I usually spend free days visiting museums and get fascinated about these historically filled exhibits and true enough, the story behind these beautifully curated objects holds a great value. I never expected that there's a museum that can be found in 4th floor of Lucky Chinatown Mall located in Binondo, Manila. I've been there a lot of times, but I never heard of it.

Bliss

I choose to spend the long week with my relatives in Bicol and also used it as an opportunity to introduce my boyfriend to my family. I guess spending days like this with important people in my life really matters. At first I was shy and hesitant about it. It's my first serious relationship and I guess I'm still on the phase where I had to keep some things private without sacrificing about letting everyone aware about our relationship.

Irayang Salog

You know that familiar feeling when you recently had an amazing vacation on a place that when you finally got back to reality, your body refuses to accept what your mind tells you otherwise. Well, I had that kind of feeling when yesterday I just got back from the province. It's just taking a break for three days, a short time but I had some stories to share.

A Trip to Sagada

The usual time of travel from manila to Sagada is about 8-9 hours but unfortunately, ours took longer than expected due to traffic from a road accident. While on the road, I keep my composure and just listen to some random funky music to ease my frustration. Some of us are quite nervous because the road to Sagada includes steep and deep sided cliffs that could make you feel anxious if you're not used to the breathtaking view.  Our trip became a whole day.

Summer

It was May, and I feel the warm summer wind as I enjoy a few bites of sweet cookies and read one of the works of an inspiring author I truly admire. I woke up at exactly 6AM, not my usual time of breakfast but when you're in the province, the time runs differently compared when you're in the city. Summer in the province is warmer than ever, I thought a lot of trees would absorb the heat but it didn't spared me from having sunburn.

Bicol 2021

It's been quite a while since I had a vacation and unfortunately there's still a pandemic so it's strictly prohibited to travel and to follow safety protocols. Last week, our family had the chance to visit our hometown. I miss my relatives, the fresh air, the solitude that the nature brings and I'm excited to go out and travel after almost two years of home quarantine.

Casita Ysabel

We're still in a middle of this pandemic and I'm still really hoping that everything will be better soon. We still need to stay at home and protect ourselves from the risk of having the virus. But tbh I really miss travelling to other different places and unwind from all the stress. Yesterday, I scrolled through my phone gallery and saw these photos taken during our family vacation in Casita Ysabel, Batangas.

My Hometown, Camarines Sur

I was born in Camarines Sur and I remember some of my childhood memories associated with that place where I grew up with my deceased Grandmother. We called her "Lola Taba" and reminiscing that place made me miss her so much. I was five years old when my family decided to leave our hometown but a big part of my heart stayed there. During summer or holidays, we still visit there.

Paradise through my lenses: Caramoan, Camarines Sur

I just want to share my 2016 Caramoan Island adventure during the celebration of my 18th Birthday. My parents asked me plans about my birthday and I suggested we travel in Caramoan with my relatives. We're staying in Manila but some of my relatives are in Bicol, so I decided to celebrate my birthday with them. I'm not used on celebrating my own extravagant birthdays or receive a lot of gifts. Making memories is special to me.

Mt. Batolusong: Hiking Adventure

Hiking is one of my favorite activity. One of the beginner-friendly mountain I climbed this year is Mt. Batolusong, which is located in Tanay, Rizal. This is my second time. The first one is when we tried the major climb in Bataan a few years ago in college. This year I tried Mt. Batolusong, because it's near from Manila. We traveled a few hours before we arrived at Brgy. San Andres for registration at exactly 5AM.

Zambales: Travel Diary

Sea, sand, salty hair, sound waves and laughter; These are the five words to define my Zambales adventure in Isla de Potipot. I went there to escape the busy life of the city and take a break from long hours of work during weekdays. We traveled for almost 7-8 hours from Manila to Zambales and we arrived at exactly 6AM.
