It feels like a breath of fresh air when something is going well after all the struggles I've been through in these past few months. I had an opportunity to spent the long weekends with my family after they decided to book a last minute hotel reservation for an unplanned staycation in tagaytay. The funniest thing is that, my boyfriend who happened to visit was also invited to join.
He didn't have any clothes to wear but we decided to go shopping in the nearest supermarket in tagaytay. It was an exciting weekends full of laughter and karaoke, a fun way to celebrate father's day. It's been three days full of never-ending food trips and farm hopping. We tried to order online in the middle of the night but to no avail, we decided to go out and try tsokolateria, a restaurant near olivarez plaza. The resort also has entertainment rooms like game rooms where we played billiards and table tennis. My parents really enjoyed the game rooms. These are the photos from tsokolateria, as someone who loves films and movie stuff, I really appreciate the interiors. It has a lot of collection related to old Filipino cinemas. We tried their soft and tender pineapple marinated baby back ribs. Aside from that, we visited the SVD Farm through riding a "bokyo" tricycle with a fare of 70php. It was really a breather to just enjoy the view in the farm and relax with the family as we stayed in a Kubo.
We also tried a few of their foods in the cafe including Hawaiian pizza, strawberry and chocolate cheesecakes, puto bumbong and pasta. We ate heavily as we enjoy the scenery and attended a morning mass. We also visited a nearby garden with lots of beautiful flowers and paid an entrance of 20php. I could say that it was worth it.
