It was Saturday, I'm so in the mood to go outside and have fun. These past few days has been so stressful and I really want to have a little escape. After a few weeks of not seeing each other, I called my boyfriend and we decided to go to Lipa, Batangas to check out our newly found place, The Marian Orchard. I haven't had outdoor activities in a while, I've been spending some time in school and my little corner of study table during weekdays and some weekends too.
I head first to SM Calamba, It was my first time being alone on a bus ride going to Calamba, Laguna. On weekends, I was used to him visiting on our house in Manila. It was my first time to visit his hometown and have my own little adventure. Unluckily, on that day I was a bit lost when I mistakenly rode a Jeepney going to Pasay instead of Buendia Terminal. Luckily tho, I woke up early that I have all the time in the world to get lost and have an endless joyrides.
It was 10am when I arrived in front of SM Calamba. We ate lunch before we rode a van at the terminal of SM Calamba to Lipa, Batangas. I guess it took an hour to reach the Balete Exit and we rode another jeep headed to Marian Orchard for 50 Php each. The happiest thing about commuting is that I've learned a lot of trips just by reading sign boards. Places I haven't visited yet, and places I don't expect to discover. In the entrance, we are greeted by friendly faces underneath a blue tent. We paid for 80 pesos each and we were given a tickets that we should wore around our wrist as we troll around the beautiful pilgrimage. They even asked where we came from, I told them that we're from Manila and they are amazed how far we've traveled just to visit Batangas.
It was such an amazing experience, when we went back to head again to Balete Exit to SM Calamba, we rode a tricycle where we laughed at how we feel drowned at the windy road. It was such a fun experience to rode a tricycle although it was raining a little bit and it was cold. It felt like time flies so fast, the next time we have another date, I guess we just try something different like Tagaytay. I'm too happy to just pick one photo to post from this day, I decided to just make an entry of this in my blog.
