1. Breaking bad (2008) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - This is the first series I've finished when I was in college. The story revolves around Walter White, a chemistry professor who attempted to secure his family's future by becoming notorious drug kingpin after he's diagnosed with an inoperable lung cancer. It's really compelling to watch and the plot twists are exciting. As the show progresses, I found myself contemplating about certain scenes; How Walter's erogenous ethical beliefs biased by his own self interest or selfishness can harm not only the innocent people but the one closest to him. What really makes life worth living in the verge of dying?
2. Game of Thrones (2011) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - I've never been a super fan of fantasy genre with a twist of drama until I've watched this series. It's fascinating to watch all these kingdoms, dragons, monsters etc. and the lives of each of the characters in the story. The rise to power, the downfall, unpredictable deaths, betrayals and such fighting scenes are really interesting from start to finish.
3. The End of the F*cking world (2017) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐- One of my favorite coming of age series. It's like a Bonnie & Clyde- story where two teenagers hungry for adventure embark on a road trip to find a missing Person. Full of unpredictable twists, with a dark humor and a not-so-romantic love story. It's just composed of two seasons but it's so great that I don't even want to have a season 3 because the ending is really satisfying.
4. Gilmore Girls (2000) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - Do you have something called a comfort series? One of my comfort show is Gilmore girls which is a dramedy (Drama & Comedy) centering about the day-to-day lives of mother-daughter living in Stars hollow, Connecticut. It is full of life lessons, relatable for such teenagers out there.
5. F.R.I.E.N.D.S (1994) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - Aside from the amazing 90's fashion and styles, this sitcom follows the lives of a group of friends living in Manhattan. It's all about friendship, their personal and professional lives as they share struggles and laughter with each other.
6. Santa Clarita Diet (2017) ⭐⭐⭐⭐ - A mix of laughter, slasher/thriller with such compelling plot twists and also, Drew Barrymore. Honestly, I really don't like how Netflix push the show to end. I mean, I am satisfied with the ending, but It's really obvious that it was kind of rushed. The show is entertaining and funny that I wanted more seasons of it.
7. Narcos (2015) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - As the name of the show implies, It's a story about criminal exploits and drug lords that could really give you chills on how it plagued a country through the years. Specifically, it chronicled the life of Pablo Escobar, a notorious drug lord and many other drug kingpins. I haven't watched Narcos (Mexico) yet but I had also watched "El Chapo." The violent scenes, death and murders are really triggering. If you're interested with these types of shows, watch at your own risk.
8. Scream Queens (2015) ⭐⭐⭐⭐ - Another comedy slasher/thriller that tells the story of a sorority group that are being terrorized by an unknown serial killer and their mission is to find who is behind the mask. Emma Roberts slayed being a spoiled-rich-brat- and her acting skills are superb. Unfortunately, it wasn't renewed for a new season idk why.
9. The Handmaid's Tale (2017) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐- Based on Margaret Atwood's novel published in 1985 is a dystopian future where people is forced to live under a fundamentalist theocratic dictatorship. This show sits well for feminists and every episodes are compelling and suspenseful.
10. Fleabag (2016) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐- Honestly, who wouldn't be amaze on Phoebe Waller-Bridge? This is a comedy series about a young woman trying to cope with life in London after a devastating tragedy. It's full of laughs, relatable at times, quirky & somewhat awkward.
11. Vikings (2013) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐- A story of a Viking warrior and his rise to power in the brutal and mysterious days of exploration into the unknown shores across the ocean. I always like the historical-fantasy series about great warriors and kingdoms. There's something fascinating about historical events brought into life with this kind of shows.
12. Legend of the Seeker (2008) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐- Idk if anyone remembered this show? because this is the first series I've become interested in when I was a kid and I have lots of time for television.
13. Modern Family (2009) - ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This series has a unique story that could really makes you understand that every family is different and you work out for all these differences for the people you love.
