It was Friday when we arrived in Manila from Bicol, today is Sunday afternoon and time had gone so fast but it feels like my mind is still in a full vacation mode. Yesterday, it took me time to process that I need to finish reports and essays that are due next week. I miss my hometown and the slow mornings, where time doesn't move forward when its supposed to.
One rainy night, me and my cousins were watching a zombie movie where the protagonist felt relieved and never been happier his entire life when an apocalypse hit the city and finally he's not required to go to his stressful work anymore. He listed a bucket list of all the things he want to accomplish before becoming a full pledged zombie. Despite being in a zombie land, he did all the simple yet memorable things listed on his bucket list such as grilling a delicious meat in the rooftop, bathe in sauna and paragliding. One day, he discovered his friend was still alive so he bravely stepped outside his safety zone to rescue his friend trapped in a fully loaded zombie building. In that particular moment, I randomly asked my cousins, "Do you have a friend, or someone whom you will rescue like that in the middle of an apocalypse?." I mean, why?

Last week, I heard the news about Matthew Perry's death. In that exact same day, I was riding a bus with a small flat screen in front while watching friends on the way to Bicol. I just realized that after reading his memoir, he's scared of the idea of just being recognized as Chandler Bing until the end of his life. He's so great for being chandler that people even paid tribute for the well- loved character.
I now wonder where I'm good at.

I've always had a tendency to randomly smile whenever I thought of a funny joke, a moment that could unleash my superficial happiness, something from the past which I thought was really funny.
One day I was in a middle of a lecture in class, when I remembered one particular day when our neighbor furiously knocked in our doorstep just to asked "nagkapalit ata electricity bill natin? sa inyo ata ito? Ang taas kase ng singil samin, umabot ng 2k. Magkano sa inyo?" But our electricity bill had 8k on it.
